Utilizing Lymphatic Massage in Plastic Surgery Recovery

An 8 Hour Continuing Education Course for Licensed Massage Therapists

Cost: $1,600

In this course all Licensed Massage Therapists will learn the about utilizing Lympahtic Massage in Plastic Surgery recovery. It is a pre-approved course by Texas Department of Regulations and Licensing. It is ONLY for licensed massage therapists, nurses, medical assistants, or medical staff. Proof of license is required upon registration. There will be both a lecture and a “hands-on” experience throughout the 8 hour course. Lunch will also be provided.

Participants will learn the basics of how the lymphatic system works and functions. They will learn different surgical procedures as well as the fundamentals of how to help patients who have had plastic surgery heal from those procedures.

Manual in Lymphatic Massage will be taught along with how to use ultrasound, the Ballancer Pro, and compression guidance. Participants will also be shown different surgical cases and how to deal with the recovery.

After the 8 hour course, all participants will be given a continuing education certificate with a total of 8 hours of CEUs. Participants will also be given the opportunity to come back and shadow Delmie for a half-day (4 hrs) and experience different patient recovery scenarios at her medical practice:
